Week beginning 1st September

We hope you have all had a lovely summer and look forward to welcoming all children back from Tuesday the 2nd of September.

We have been busy over the summer updating The Barn loft and having a little move around in the rooms. We also have a beautiful new Rainbow room that has replaced the office. We can't wait to see how the children use the space in the rooms. A reminder that children moving up to The Discoverers' room will be leaving from the Discoverers' door at the end of the day.

Outside, there is a new small world area and quiet area for sharing stories and making marks. There will be fun exploring the water tray, sand and rolling balls down the guttering.

We look forward to welcoming our new starters this week: Clemmie, Audrey, Caleb, Eva, Isabel, Jasper, Matilda, Roman and Ronan.

This week, our theme is All About Me and we are going to be very busy! At Rainbow time, the children will be looking in the mirror, identifying their features and painting themselves. Look out for their pictures on the wall boards in the next 2 weeks. We will also be learning each others' names with our 'Where are you?' song as we roll the ball to each other, singing our favourite songs and sharing what makes us all unique.
