What fun! The caterpillars have been busy spinning their cocoons and they have hatched into beautiful butterfiles ready to be released.
The pirates and princesses have arrived at the Barn. The theme area is a pirate den equipped with a treasure chest, treasure maps, and goblets for pirate juice! And watch out for the parrot! We will be listening to stories about pirates and princesses, and making our own treasure maps and hats.
The Discoverers' walls are brightly displaying their school uniform paintings, please do have a look. They are welcome to bring in their new school book bag and/or wear their uniform to The Barn if they would like to.
Outside, there will continue to be buried treasure in the sandpit and giant shape sorting to organise different objects by their properties.
The Explorers' book bags will be collected in this week, ready for next term, and the Discoverers will be taking their book bags home for the last time.
The Discoverers' word of the week is adventure.
