This week, the winter fun continues with a Jack Frost story (click to open YouTube link) . The Children will also be dancing to music and freezing as frost statues.

Percy's Shed was very popular last week and the fun will continue, we wonder where the animals will choose to hide and sleep this week!

Every afternoon, in small circle, the Discoverers will be exploring different sounds in Mrs Browning's Box and will be coming up with ideas of how to describe them.

Outside, children can explore the sensory snowlflake tray by making snowflakes and patterns in the flour. There are also blankets and hot water bottles to wrap up warm too and enjoy winter stories.

The children will be having Rainbow time with their key person and will be coming home with their book bags.

It has been lovely to see lots of warm hats, scarves and gloves recently and we have been practicing putting on our own gloves - it would be lovely if you can help with this at home too to encourage independence.

The Discoverers' word of the week is Spiky
