Week beginning 17th March

The children have had great fun in the florist shop this week, there has been lots of decorating and wedding planning! The florist will continue to be open for business next week. Jack's magic beans have also turned into a giant beanstalk that has been growing daily.

This week we are thinking all about shapes. At gatherings, children will be dancing and freezing in shape positions, joining in with shape rhymes and playing shape games. We will be taking part in shape walks in the garden and making giant shapes with the wooden planks to balance and climb on.

In the creative area, there will be lots of resources to make shape collages so if you have any bottle tops, or similar items at home, they will be gratefully received.
