Week beginning 2nd March

This week, we will be enjoying favourite stories and celebrating World Book Day.

It is always lovely to share a book together, whether as a quiet end to a busy day or to share ideas, chat about outcomes and explore possibilities.

At gatherings, the Discoverers will be taking part in 'The Big Read' activities and Explorers will be acting out 'There Was A Princess Long Ago' we will also be sharing favourite books and discussing their different features.

The theme area has become a stage where children can dress up and act out their favourite stories or perform their rhymes of choice.

In small circle, children will be learning to sequence a story.

On any day of the week, if your child would like to, they can come in dressed as their favourite characters, in their pyjamas or their own clothes.

The Discoverers' word of the week is Character.
