The eggs arrived on Tuesday morning and so far, 4 yellow ducklings have hatched! We even got to watch one and were able to record it for all to see. This week we will be able to hold them and watch them swim for the first time in our special duck pool. The Discoverers' children will be busy keeping a Duck Diary with their drawings and comments.
We will be exploring new life in general and discussing animals and their babies in rhyme and song. We may even fit in some edible Easter activities in the creative area and egg hunts outside. The sand pit will be filled with eggs to explore, roll and construct with.
Term ends on Friday at 12.00, there is no afternoon session. We hope you have a wonderful Easter break and look forward to welcoming children back on the 22nd of April.
The Discoverers' word of the week is collect.
