What fun! The caterpillars have been busy spinning their cocoons and we are hoping they will hatch into beautiful butterflies ready to be released.
The pirates and princesses have arrived at the Barn. The theme area is a pirate den equipped with a treasure chest, treasure maps, and goblets for pirate juice! And watch out for the parrot! We will be listening to stories about pirates and princesses, and making our own treasure maps and hats.
The Discoverers' walls are brightly displaying their school uniform paintings, please do have a look. They are welcome to bring in their new school book bag and/or wear their uniform to The Barn if they would like to.
Outside, there will continue to be buried treasure in the sandpit and tea parties in the water tray.
The Explorers' book bags will be collected in this week, ready for next term, and the Discoverers will be taking their book bags home for the last time.
All parents are welcome, at pick up times, to spend time in the garden reading your child's latest progress review and look at their folders before they go off to school/away for the summer. Please plan an extra five minutes to do so.
The Discoverers' word of the week is adventure.
