Week beginning 2nd November

We hope that you all enjoyed the half-term break. And now, we begin the countdown to Christmas!
This week, we are looking forward to welcoming our newest Explorers to The Barn: Beatrice, Elsie, Kaycen, Raffi and our new Discoverer Kingsley.
We are all going to have lots of fun looking at the night sky, the stars, the moon and fireworks! In the mornings, we will watch an 'indoor' firework (a cake fountain), listen to the fizz and crackle, look at the sparkle and talk about the colours and shapes. We will also be exploring patterns and stories about Diwali.
Outiside there will be lots of colour exploration in the mud pit with mixing paints and coloured foam.
This week, the children will be learning a firework rhyme (see below), and having fun dancing to firework music.
