We hope that you all enjoyed the half-term break. And now, we begin the countdown to Christmas!

This week, we are looking forward to welcoming our newest Explorers to The Barn: Leo, Delilah and Sammy.

We are all going to have lots of fun looking at the night sky, the stars, the moon and fireworks! In the mornings, we will watch an 'indoor' firework (a cake fountain), listen to the fizz and crackle, look at the sparkle and talk about the colours and shapes.

This week, the children will be learning a firework rhyme (see below), and having fun dancing to firework music.

In the afternoons, we will also be doing Music and Movement, Baking, Woodland Experience, German, PE and Write Dance..

The Discoverers' word of the week is crackle
