Week beginning 23rd September

This week we will be looking at different kinds of homes From igloos and yurts, castles and palaces, to the houses, flats, bungalows and cottages that we see around us.

At review time, the children will be re-enacting the story of the Three Little Pigs, and building their homes of straw, sticks and brick. We will have fun seeing which house will survive the “huff and the puff” of the wolf! Outdoors, we will be investigating apples using tweezers and magnifying glasses.

The supermarket remains open for another week and the children will be busy selling, buying and paying for their purchases.
